As old friend of the Chinese people,Henry Kissinger dies at 100

Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger died on Nov. 29 at home in Connecticut at the age of 100, Kissinger Associates, Inc said in a statement.
Born in Germany in 1923, Kissinger was survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Nancy Maginnes Kissinger, two children by his first marriage, David and Elizabeth, and five grandchildren.
Also according to BBC report, Kissinger's efforts led directly to Nixon's historic trip to China in 1972, when he met both Zhou and Mao Zedong - and ended 23 years of diplomatic isolation and hostility.
Kissinger visited China more than 100 times. (XINHUA)
