Conversation with the Pakistan Senator, Sarmad Ali

Today we will talk about the personality who is renowned and well person among the business community and the Media groups.

More than thirty years of experience in promoting, publicizing and as a media  executives and Have been related with the Jang Media.

Sarmad Ali in 1999 was awarded the coveted Marketing Excellence Award for Contribution and promotions in the Field of Marketing.

sarmad Ali also got the Asian Brand Leadership Award from World Brand Congress in 2009.

Sarmad Ali got the ranked amongst the 50 most Talented CMOs by the World Marketing Congress in 2013. Sarmad Ali got the Pakistan third highest civil award from the President of Pakistan in recognition of services to the newspaper industry from government of Pakistan Received the Sitara e Imtiaz. From Asian Federation of Advertising Associations got the Award of the Special Merit in 2019. Pakistan Advertisers Society gives the Sarmad Ali the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021

Provide his services as a chairman of the Asian Advertising Congress  he Conceptualized and organized in  Lahore in 2019. Right now, Sarmad Ali is the Secretary General of the All-Pakistan Newspapers Society and has previously served as President. Being the Member of the IAA Global Board Sarmad Ali is also the President of the International Advertising Association Pakistan Chapter.

Sarmad Ali is also the Member of the Advisory Board of the World Brand Congress. Served as Board Member, Treasurer and Honorary Secretary of the Management Association of Pakistan.  He is as a board member, treasure and honorary secretary of the Pakistan Management Association. He was also a member of the Sindh Information Technology Council (200-02), a member of the Prime Minister's Working Group on Privatization and Investment (2002) and a member of the Executive Council of the World Wildlife Fund-Pakistan. 

Sarmad Ali is currently working as MD at Jang and Geo Group and is performing his duties very well. Sarmad Ali, Pakistan leading and respected journalist and the General Secretary of APNS (All Pakistan Press Union), now has joined the race to become a member of the upper House of the senate as a Senator which is Pakistan's highest body.

Sharing his thoughts with the Editor Kamran Raja of Huahsang weekly newspaper Sarmad Ali as a senator, he had the opportunity to develop Pakistan's political culture because he did not come from a feudal family and was not governed by any institution. He is hard-working, honest and motivated and will be a great asset to the Senate of Pakistan. 

Sarmad Ali is the second person from the media community to become a senator in the current Senate elections and infact that Sarmad Ali's selection is  purely value-based. without any support.

Sarmad Ali is a big step for journalists and for Journalist community. His selection as a senator is a rare honor for Pakistani media and marks a move away from its dominance. Sarmad Ali selection in strengthened his long-standing role in the Geo and Jang Group. His calm and friendly demeanor has earned him respect in the media and beyond. 

Sarmad Ali contributions to media include active participation in All Pakistan Newspapers Association is fruitful for the Pakistan Media industry.

His Selection as a Senator now puts a great responsibility on his shoulders because he will represent the people and solve the problems that threaten the media. Sarmad Ali is expected to manage the political environment and protect the interests of the media as he steps into his new position. His experience and determination give him all the tools to solve the problem, and many hope that he will create positive change and amplify the voices of people in government.

As Head of the Media Group, Sarmad understands the importance of digital media today and strives to integrate the Group's social media platforms to provide a complete and seamless experience to the audience.

While speaking with the Editor of the china Huashang weekly Newspaper Kamran Raja, Sarmad Ali says that the Pakistan People's Party has vison of CPEC and his party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari  has always supported the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) for the benefit of the people of Pakistan. 

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the president of Pakistan  Asif Ali Zardari visited the brother country China and are  in favor of CPEC. Sarmad Ali also says that Pakistan people Party strongly believes in people power and betterment of people of Pakistan.

Regarding the conversation about the China Pakistan friendship Sarmad ali says that china is our all-weather strategic partner. We have deep ties in different sectors specifically development trade and agriculture sectors and with the passage of time these cooperation getting more strengthen.

China has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world. China has trained a large number of people from small groups and offers many opportunities in the world market. By working with other countries in global markets and value chains, China helped sow the seeds of a global economy that has contributed to historic growth and poverty reduction in developing countries. For example, China is supporting Pakistan in building  infrastructure projects, including the energy and railway industries. China is becoming a bigger business partner in the global economy.

CPEC is not only beneficial for Pakistan but also for the whole region to bring stability and peace. Infarct in coming times the world will witness the CPEC a game changer and a project which will bring prosperity for the region specifically will changes the life of every common man towards a better future.

China global influence is increasing day by day  globally. Which means that the China has implemented the concept of inclusive development, from investments in major industries. As China continues its rise In fact, China opening-up policy has promoted growth and development in the world, and China's position among developing countries has been neglected in the past.

China announced already the many international cooperation plan, which mainly consists of poverty alleviation programs, agricultural cooperation programs, Trade facilitation programs, Environmental protection and climate change prevention programs, and hospitals construction. Construction of clinics, schools and vocational training centers. 

As part of the plan, China has introduced measures to address the climate issue as part of the New Development Directive , which promotes environmental protection. China is a leader in meeting the climate needs of developing countries and using the Climate Change Funds. China is also tackling pollution, water conservation, rural empowerment and improved health care programs while implementing sweeping education reforms, including the provision of educational and vocational institutions.

The trade in Asia is booming and the China is the big market which focusing on continues efforts to expand its rail transportation business into European and Asian markets and is looking for ways to significantly shorten sea transportation times. The rapid expansion of trade routes reflects the growth of trade between China and Pakistan also besides with other countries so we can say that this will benefit not only China but the entire region so  this is the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Belt and Road 

Initiative that opens the doors for not only better future of Pakistan but also for the other region countries through the Pakistan.

The Projects in CPEC such as infrastructure, energy or transportation are sources of development in the region. It has created many employment opportunities for the population and paved the way for increased foreign investment and international trade cooperation. 

Sarmad Ali also sahres and says he believes that Asian countries, which open their borders to every country, support weak regions and give them strength, place the continent on the map of economic development and provide space for a growing economy. So CPEC will continue to develop economies in the future.

Moreover, under the umbrella of China Pakistan Economic corridor lots of things are going on to execute soon.
