Pakistan Conducts Precision Intelligence-Based Airstrikes Against TTP Hideouts

Islamabad, 17 March 2026( Kamran Raja):According to security sources, Pakistan carried out a series of precise intelligence-based airstrikes during the night of 16–17 March 2026, targeting multiple (terrorist) hideouts affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan – TTP) inside Afghan territory.

The operation successfully struck seven centers located across the provinces of Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost. These facilities were being used for planning, coordination, and execution of terrorist activities against Pakistan.

As per initial battle damage assessments:

More than 80 militants have been confirmed killed
Additional casualties are expected as damage assessments continue

The targeted centers included:

New Center No. 1 – Nangarhar
New Center No. 2 – Nangarhar
Khwariji Maulvi Abbas Center – Khost
Khwariji Islam Center – Nangarhar
Khwariji Ibrahim Center – Nangarhar
Khwariji Mullah Rahbar Center – Paktika
Khwariji Mukhlis Yar Center – Paktika

Security sources further stated that these operations were conducted with high precision, ensuring maximum impact on terrorist infrastructure while minimizing collateral damage.

Pakistan reiterates its firm resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. Such actions underscore the country's commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and protecting its citizens from cross-border threats.
